2026 Little Brown Jug Football Game
Dear Pearl River Families,
On behalf of Pearl River High School and the Pearl River Pirates Football Team, it is our pleasure to invite you to a very special athletic event. The annual Little Brown Jug football game is this Friday September 4th, 2026 at 6:00pm. Please help us maintain the tradition and pride of our athletes and community by following the guidelines below:
Pearl River/Nanuet –September 4th at Pearl River High School.
The game will be live-streamed free of charge for the wider Pearl River and Nanuet communities on the Hudl network using this link . The link will be live 10 minutes before kick-off.
Limited parking will be available at the high school.
Children must be supervised at all times. We expect a large crowd, and everyone’s cooperation is needed to ensure safety.
No coolers, bottles, insulated cups, or outside drinks are permitted. Refreshments will be available for purchase on-site.
The Pearl River High School campus is alcohol, drug, and smoke-free. The Orangeburg Police Department along with members of the district will be on site to help enforce these rules. Anyone who is in violation is subject to removal from the property.
Reminders (For All Athletic Events):
No signs, banners, or fatheads (Section 1 Policy)
No face paint or masks
No backpacks- all bags are subject to search
No coolers, insulated cups, open containers, bottles, or outside drinks of any kind
No alcohol, smoking, or tobacco products on school property
No horns, noisemakers, etc.
No dogs or other pets permitted on school property
We thank you for your enthusiasm and support in representing Pearl River as a proud community throughout the activities surrounding this long-standing athletic rivalry. We expect that everyone in attendance will continue to model cooperation, sportsmanship, and respect for both teams.
The Physical Education and Athletic Department recognizes the role of Interscholastic Athletics in defining ethical behavior and developing personal character in our students. Therefore, we ask that all spectators:
Demonstrate a high degree of sportsmanship.
Show team support by making only positive comments.
Show respect for the judgment of coaches, officials, and referees.
During contests, acknowledge fields, courts, and equipment as the player’s domain. Spectators remain within designated areas.
Monitor the safety of children in bleachers and stands.
Respect the law: all public schools are smoke-free, substance-free environments.
Athletic contests on and off campus are an extension of the classroom. Therefore, ALL school rules are in effect!
Our school district supports relationships based on trust, decency, and fairness. Pearl River athletic contests are held in the spirit of healthy competition and good sportsmanship. We expect cooperation and respect from all athletes and spectators at home and away contests.
