Announcements

  • Iona College Instant Decision Day is Wednesday, December 4

Iona College just notified us that they will be visiting Pearl River High School on Wednesday, December 4 to meet with seniors interested in participating in an Instant Decision Day.  This will be an opportunity for a senior to meet one-on-one with an Iona College admissions representative who will review your application to Iona and provide you with an instant admissions decision.  Seniors who have already applied to Iona should definitely participate and seniors planning to apply to Iona are highly encouraged to participate. The application fees will be waived/refunded for all seniors who attend Instant Decision Day.  Interested seniors must stop by the Guidance Office to sign up before leaving on the Disney trip. We will provide you with additional important information and answer questions you may have when you visit the Guidance Office to sign up.

  • New Community Service Procedures

Pearl River High School is now using an online tracking and reporting system for service hours called x2VOL that is accessible through Naviance Student.  This system eliminates the need for paper forms and allows students to enter their service hours online at any time, check and register for volunteer opportunities, receive reminders about the opportunities and print a service hour log that can be used as a reference for college applications and the National Honor Society.  Please see the Community Service page on the Guidance site for detailed information.
