PRHS’s Pirate Rep Theatre presents “Trap” by Stephen Gregg. In Menachap, California, an incomprehensible event occurs: every person in the audience of a high school play falls unconscious - every person but one. Using interviews with witnesses, loved ones, first responders, and the investigators pursuing the case, a theatre ensemble brings the story of the strange event to life, documentary-style. Unnerving, exhilarating, and wildly inventive, you've never walked into anything quite like “Trap”. The play has an ensemble cast of PRHS students: Anneka Bowler, Ciara Carle, Maura Fenlon, Olivia Galligan, Erin Hooker, Jackson Lawson, Majella Maltempi, Kate McDermott, Kiera McDermott, Maeve Murray, Neil O’Toole, Máiréad Parnow, Kate Pittignano, Emily Reilly, Brittany Sawyer, and Jacob Wallach. “Trap” will be performed at 7:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, October 17th & 18th at the PRHS auditorium. Tickets for these evening performances are available online at bit.ly/prhstrap or at the door. There will also be a special free performance for our senior citizens on Thursday, October 16th at 3:30 PM. Please note that “Trap” contains scenes of suspense and horror and may not be suitable for young children.
