PRHS Students Present at Rockland County High Schools' Local History Conference & March BOE Meeting

Each year, Rockland County Historical Society organizes a History Day conference around a central theme.  This year’s theme was Immigration.  Students from schools across the county participated by researching and presenting at the conference which was held at St. Thomas Aquinas this year.  Pearl River High School students Annie Arnold, Alanah Fitzgerald, Marguerite McAree, Vickie Pahl, and Kate Pittignano presented to the PRSD Board of Education their History Day presentation: The Impact of Irish Immigration to the Pearl River Community.  Thank you to PRHS social studies teachers, Ms. Finnican and Ms. Fortunato, who served as advisors.     Click the link below to view the presentation:  https://youtu.be/-hN-SrtN4dc
